Agafay Desert Sunrise Experience

Before dawn, we’ll collect you from the selected meeting point in Marrakech and set off towards the Agafay Desert, a peaceful haven located just outside the city. Once we arrive at the bivouac, we’ll be welcomed with a traditional tea, the ideal way to begin this special desert experience. As the first rays of light appear, we’ll get on our camels for a relaxed 30-minute ride, dressed in traditional clothing. Surrounded by the calm of the desert, we’ll watch the day slowly come to life on the horizon. Next comes one of the highlights of the experience: sunrise. As the sun rises over the Agafay Desert, the landscape transforms with beautiful shades of gold, orange and yellow. It’s a unique natural moment and one you’ll remember long after the trip. After enjoying this magical scene, we’ll regain our energy with a traditional Moroccan breakfast served in a truly memorable setting. Afterwards, you’ll have around one hour of free time to unwind, take in the views and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Finally, we’ll begin the journey back to Marrakech, arriving at the original meeting point approximately 5 hours after departure. Desert Sunrise + Quad Tour For those looking to add a more adventurous touch to the experience, there is the option to include a quad bike tour. During the free time after breakfast, you’ll ride through the Agafay Desert on these all-terrain vehicles, enjoying an exciting route across the desert landscape. Requirements To drive the quad bikes, participants must be at least 16 years old. A driving licence is not required.
