Description
Immerse yourself in the most surprising part of the Moroccan desert, and contemplate the contrasts offered by its different landscapes.
Day 1: Marrakech - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Valley
We'll depart from Marrakech and head towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 7414 feet (2,260 meters) high. Our first stop will be the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, where you'll have approximately 2.5 hours to explore and have lunch. Next, we'll visit Ouarzazate for roughly half an hour to admire the Taourirt Kasbah. Proceeding along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," we'll cross the Valley of the Roses to reach the Dadès Valley for the night.
